The opening entitled “The Day You Grow Your Wings” will offer a program on Saturday afternoon, April 20, 2024, and under the direction of Petr Říbal, popular presenter of Europe 2, will combine music, dance, food and design in street style. What can visitors look forward to?
- Pavlo Berka's street food cooking showwho made it to the semifinals of the Masterchef cooking competition in 2020. His specialty is burgers in every way, including non-traditional flavors and ingredients.
- Food truck with various kinds of drinks from various corners of the world.
- Doctor Dancer Workshop focus on teaching street dance. A short, simple, but interesting set will teach both children and their parents. As part of the program, which ends with a joint performance, they will introduce the new Olympic sport of break dancing.
- Parkour workshop This will be a great opportunity for anyone who wants to try and learn the basics of a unique and exciting discipline that combines grace of movement with acrobatics.
A variety of other accompanying activities will be available, including exciting competitions, little ones will enjoy face painting or magicians who can make all kinds of animals from balloons.

Butka Park's dominant feature is the unique bird-themed children's playground by award-winning Danish studio MONSTRUM.

Open every day
Butky Park, which first opened last spring, features entertainment for kids, teens and adults. The dominant feature of this multifunctional area is the unique bird-themed children's playground created by a famous Danish architect. In the area of three football fields, Butky Park offers, in addition to a lot of greenery or fog areas, an event concert zone, a football or other team sports field, as well as a pétanque area. There is also a barbecue zone with the possibility of renting a barbecue set with a famous local meat stall, a kiosk with soft drinks and, of course, sanitary facilities.
The Butky Park program is currently always available at www.butkypark.cz. From 1 April 2024, the area can be accessed for free every day from 09.00 to 21.00, and visitors can also use all the facilities of the adjacent Butovice Gallery, including convenient parking.
