Josef Alois Náhlovský was originally a teacher: After entering the screen, he became successful

The world of Czech television entertainment has been hit hard. Popular comedian Josef Alois Náhlovský died suddenly at the age of seventy-two. In recent years, he appeared on screens sporadically, but there was a time when almost no TV variety show could do without him. Josef Alois Náhlovský has a brilliant sense of humor and audiences adore him. Trained Czech teachers become famous people very quickly.

In the nineties of the last century, Czech television entertainment was at its peak. Almost every television station regularly broadcasts various entertainment programs and variety shows, in which famous faces of Czech show business entertain their viewers. Zuzana Bubílková, Petr Novotný, Karel Šíp or Josef Alois Náhlovský appear on the screen most often. The last mentioned was one of the most prominent faces of the nineties, when he was an absolute star.

Graduated teacher

Josef Alois Náhlovský was born on 15 December 1949. He studied Czech language and history at the Faculty of Education of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University and worked as a teacher after school. He had a great sense of humor, which everyone noticed. He soon teamed up with entertainer Petr Novotný and together they started acting as moderators for Fešáci's music band.

He appeared on TV screens for the first time in 1980 in the entertainment program Konkurs 80. Subsequently, he created a comic duo with his acting partner Josef Mladý, and their duo became a huge success. They accompanied many shows together and the audience really liked their humor. Apart from Josef Mladý, but to collaborate with, for example, the aforementioned Karel Šíp.

An unmistakable sense of humor

Josef Alois Náhlovský knows how to make fun of almost anything and in his performances he usually plays a smart fool who, like Honza's stupid character, always manages to find the right solution to a difficult situation.

However, Bavič was devoted not only to television work, but also to book work. An author of humorous theories about the fictional country of the Old Ore Mountains, he also wrote a humorous book called The Ore Mountains Chronicle, which was based on his ideas about the Old Ore Mountains. Josef Alois Náhlovský was a great person who could make even the stupidest people laugh, in the nineties he was at the peak of his career, but he appeared on the small screen until 2018. Then on Wednesday, April 7 2022, sad news came. The legendary entertainer died suddenly after a short period of serious illness.
