The general impression after the control operation was that most people traveling to Norway to fish were well aware of the regulations.

Travelers can then bring in 18 kilograms of fish or fish products from Norway, up to twice a year. The rules also apply to UV hunting.

The Norwegian Directorate of Fisheries has information about fishing tourism in Norway on its website website etc YouTubeand collaborate with several organizations to disseminate information.

Travelers can take larger quantities of fish overseas if it has been purchased in a store and can show a receipt.
