When asked for comment, Putin joked: “anything is possible in the modern world.” However, in his opinion, “it was clear to everyone that we would be one step away from the outbreak of a full-scale World War III. I don't think anyone is interested in that.”

Putin added that NATO military personnel were already present in Ukraine and said that Russians had learned to speak English and French on the battlefield.
