Prime Minister: – Shocking

Irish police are investigating yesterday’s explosion as an accident, they said at a news conference on Saturday afternoon.

– As investigators, we must keep an open mind, but information so far leads to a tragic accident, police inspector David Kelly told a news conference.

Police also stated that no one was reported missing after the crash, and they expected the death toll to not increase.

Irish Prime Minister Michael Martin visited the crash site Saturday morning, and declared that all of Ireland was now in mourning.

– A little boy in a shop lost his life. So did two teenagers with a man and a woman. This is truly a shocking and tragic event, the prime minister said, according to Sky News.
