For Brian Johnson it was a very strong mental pressure to have to leave one of the greatest and most legendary rock bands in the world. That in such an emotional situation he couldn’t stand to see another vocalist take over his role is very understandable. Ahead of the problems that arose and which ultimately ended with him having to give up on the band, he had previously shared how the picture of his illness faded. Trouble started at the band Winnipeg concert on September 17, 2015 during the event “Rock or Bust World Tour”. They were playing outside during a rainstorm in the cold, and both Johnson and Young had fevers. – We were drenched and completely frozen, Johnson said at the time. Still, they took off on a two-and-a-half hour flight to Vancouver right after the show. – “Unfortunately, fluid started flowing in my sinuses and around my ears“, he said.

They continued their concerts in San Francisco and Los Angeles, after which they returned to Australia to rest. Then realized Johnson which ears still don’t have “appear”. He went on a tour of Australia and contacted a specialist based in Sydney Dr Changwhich he had also visited nine times before. – I’m starting to worry because my right ear is my “good” earso Johnson. – My left ear is almost completely deaf, and Dr. Chang discovered that the fluid had crystallized and invaded the “good” ear. So with that I also lost hearing in my good ear, I don’t know what the percentage is, but it’s enough to make things really hard. The singer had a snake stuck to his arm and he was given fluids and steroids to try to break up the crystals. Johnson further stated that Dr Chang looked into her eyes, with the scary look a doctor had when bad news had to be told.

It was then that Johnson understood that he was now done.

Having said that, the excitement was great when in August 2018 we were able to confirm the news that Longtime drummer Phil Rudd returned to AC/DC after he was spotted in Canada with Stevie Young where the band is now reuniting to record a new studio album. and it can also be confirmed that Brian Johnson has returned and is present with the rest of the band.
