Radosław Sikorski went on television in the US and warned Americans

Minister Sikorski also warned on American television that if the current stalemate continues, allies will begin to doubt the United States.

“A lot of damage to America’s credibility has been done. “Because this aid package has been debated for months, and what this package makes us aware of – or rather the failure to pass it – is that even if the US president wants to help his allies, he may not be able to do this,” the minister said during the interview with Mika Brzezinski, a popular journalist in the US.

He added that if this situation continues, America’s allies, both in Europe and Asia, will begin to have doubts about their alliances and start hedging their bets by looking elsewhere.

The head of Poland’s Foreign Ministry called on the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, to vote on a bill containing funds for Ukraine and compared the current moment with the situation before World War II.

“We cannot repeat the mistakes of that time – like in Munich, trusting the dictator, his word, his paper, instead of holding him to account,” he said, referring to the 1938 Munich Conference and Adolf Hitler.
