Stokke and Khartoum avoided the KBK crisis

The 2-0 victory over Kongsvinger came after two defeats and 0-5 goal difference.

KBK steps down from Eliteserien last year after a brutal start to the season. This year, the Michelsen crew was favored by many to fight for the top. Prior to Saturday’s win against Kongsvinger, there was pressure on the home side.

– The game against Kongsvinger on Saturday is a match of fate. If there are any more losses, the coach’s responsibility will be something we will have to discuss, said club chairman Per Otto Dyb The demands of the times recently.

Benjamin Stokke sent the home team ahead and sealed the club’s first league goal before seven minutes had played. Kartum then doubled the lead two minutes into first-half stoppage time after losing the ball to Kongsvinger.

The 27-year-old Khartum became a hot object as the transfer window in Norway drew to a close. He did not hide his disappointment when there was never a transfer. The midfielder scored two goals and seven assists in last year’s Eliteserien.

After the break, KIL had a lot of possession, but KBK was also dangerous on the counter-attack. Captain Kristiansund and Peter Uvestad came close to making it 3-0, but August Strömberg saved well.

New Sandstø gem?

Portuguese Samuel Pedro could be a hit at Norway’s second highest level. The 21-year-old with a past at Benfica scored a hat-trick in Jerv’s 3-2 win over Skeid. Coach Jerv Arne Sandstø has had great success with several players brought in from abroad in the past.

The forward comes to Jerv from Slovenia Olimpija Ljubljana.

Pedro scored with his left foot and head in the first half, both after losing the ball in a dangerous area to newly promoted Skeid. Two minutes from the end, he scored a hat-trick after a wonderful finish with his right foot.

Skeid pressed in overtime. The away Per-Magnus Steiring were close, before Ulrich Ness finally made the difference, but too little and too late after 100 minutes of play.

Kristoffer Hoven scores Skeid’s first goal at Grimstad. Liberia-Sweden’s Peter Wilson missed a penalty for Jerv, but was rewarded for all the assists in a 3-2 win.

Invincible head

Newly promoted Hødd has impressed so far. On Saturday it was 1-1 at home to Asane for the team from Ulsteinvik. Sander Sundnes scored the first goal of the game after nine minutes. Three minutes later Mame Mor Ndiaye answered.

Hødd had one win and two draws after the first three matches.

Sandnes Ulf and Raufoss went 0-0 in their fourth and final game in division 1 on Saturday.
