The big favorite Warholm in Stockholm

The list of participants for the Diamond League in Stockholm on July 2 is ready.

Karsten Warholm fantastic start to the season win and 46.52 in the 400 meter hurdles during the Bislett Games. That was far behind his world record of 45.94 – but the hurdler’s second-best run, as well as the fourth-best time in history.

Warholm’s next race is during the Diamond League in the Swedish capital Stockholm on July 2. There he had an outstanding personal record and the best year in his field.

  • Oskar Edlund (Sweden): Press and annual best 49.94
  • Wilfried Happio (France): Press 47.41 – annual best 48.13
  • Rasmus Magi (Estonia): Release of 47.82
  • KyronMcMaster (British Virgin Islands): Release 47.08 – annual best of 48.57
  • Alessandro Sibilio (Italy): Press 47.93 – annual best of 48.23
  • Ludvy Vaillant (France): Release of 48.26 – annual best of 48.50

Warholm was also confirmed to be ready for the Diamond League in Monaco on July 21. WC took place in Budapest towards the end of August.

Other Norwegians started in Stockholm:

Sondre Guttormsen And Pål Haugen Lillefosse registered for the pole vault, and will try to challenge world record holder Armand Duplantis at home.

Athletics blog Athletics1 published an overview of Norway’s participation in advance Twitter account.

Karoline Bjerkeli Grøvdal did not appear early on in Bislett, but is now registered for the 5000 meters in Sweden.
