Throughout the year, World School teachers and students can meet at joint events (World Schools Summit, World Afternoons, Reflective Meetings, World School Inspiration Awards…) and exchange experiences and teaching tips at them.

If your school meets all of the specified criteria, at the end of the school year, it may receive authorization to use the World School branding for that school in ceremonial announcements.

The World School is a place where:

  • with students under the guidance of a team of teachers who are active in dealing with world events and keeping abreast of the latest developments in developing countries;

They say about the World School

“This program gives us a solid framework for incorporating world topics into schools, better clarification on these topics, motivation, inspiration, collaboration with guides and children on things that make sense to me. Thanks to World School, we get a greater urge to connect with the neighborhood and forge relationships with local organisations. I am excited about the new contacts and all the events that have taken place. I appreciate the support from the World School.”

/Jana Zavackaguide from Gaudi Primary and Kindergarten/

“Students at our school are grateful that you talk to them, solve world-moving topics with them. I think that will be very enriching for them.”

/Vlaďka Řihoškováteacher at the Vocational High School of Commerce and Services in Olomouc/

“You can see that thanks to the World School project, young people have a clear understanding of global issues. Step by step the children went through the lesson and all said that it took off the patch that was on their eyes. Today, they look at the world’s problems much more intensely.”

/Martina Holikováteacher at Fryčovice Elementary School/

“The world school is a place where students, with the help of teachers, seek the connection of our lives with complex global topics.
