Elizabeth II’s funeral broadcast on Polish TV. Where and when to watch coverage of the ceremony? – Right

On September 8, the world mourned the death of the Queen of England. Elizabeth II is the longest-reigning monarch in British history. Many of the world’s politicians will take part in the funeral ceremony, which is planned for September 19. US President Joe Biden, European Commission head Ursula von der Leyen, British Prime Ministers Liz Truss and Andrzej Duda with Agata Kornhauser-Duda. Olena Zelenska also flew to London.

Elizabeth II’s Cemetery. Where and when to watch the broadcast?

The funeral procession, which will also include King Charles III and members of the royal family, will leave the palace at 11:44 am Polish time. The service will start exactly 16 minutes later. Live coverage will be available on several Polish TV stations. A special program starting at 11.30 will be broadcast on TVP1 and TVP Info. Materials from Great Britain will be prepared by, among others, Karolina Pajączkowska, Dariusz Bohatkiewicz and Marcin Czapski. Public television has also scheduled a special edition of the Wiadomości for Monday, 19 September.

It’s already 10 am, the special series “Farewell to the Queen” will start on tvN24. The program will be guided by Dagmara Kaczmarek-Szałkow and the report from London will be prepared by Maciej Woroch, the regular correspondent of “Fakty”.

Berita Polsat also plans to broadcast the queen’s funeral. The station sent Stanisław Wryk and Agnieszka Laskowska to London.

BBC World News will start its coverage at 11:44 am Poland time. It was then that the coffin with the king’s body would be carried in a solemn procession from the Palace of Westminster to Westminster Abbey. Broadcast will be in English.
