However, it is not clear when the system can be launched.

Ukraine filed a complaint with the WTO against Slovakia, Poland and Hungary due to their decision to continue the embargo on Ukrainian wheat imports.

According to Bratislava, Ukrainian Agriculture Minister Mykola Solsky promised in an interview with his Slovak counterpart Joref Brea that Kyiv would stop taking action against Slovakia and stop importing Slovak agricultural commodities to Ukraine.

Slovakia, where parliamentary elections will be held in five weeks, on Friday decided to unilaterally extend a ban on imports of warbler, kukui, epka and sunflower seeds from Ukraine. Ednick, the government of Prime Minister Udovat Dora did this in response to similar steps taken by Hungary and Poland and after the European Commission did not extend the embargo on imports of these products to EU countries neighboring Ukraine.

The Slovak Ministry of Agriculture has now stated that Bre and Solskyj have agreed to the establishment of a grain trading house system for storage permits, issuance and inspection.

Poland, which is holding parliamentary elections in mid-January, is at odds with Kyiv over its own embargo on Ukrainian wheat imports. In the middle of the night, Varava announced that Ukraine was not supplying weapons. Poland, like Slovakia, is one of the supporters of Ukraine, which has been fighting the Russian invasion for a year and a half.
