We know the calendar of events at Mostec Autodrome for next year. And we have a lot to look forward to, superbikes, trucks and NASCAR are coming

The event calendar for 2024 looks very varied, but let’s start with the aforementioned WorldSBK World Superbike Championship, which will take place at Most from July 19 to 21. The championships will come to northwestern Bohemia for the fourth time, this time on a slightly different date – because of the Olympics.

Thanks to the Olympics, an Olympic park will be created in the Mostecký jezera area whose facilities and capacity including parking will also be available for WorldSBK visitors. “Therefore, we must be fully prepared for the large fan attacks that are expected to occur.” Josef Zajíček, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Autodrom Most, explained the ongoing negotiations with the municipality regarding the synergies of the two companies.

This year, championship stop Mostec attracted 54,000 visitors, almost a third more than last year. “Last year, we split entry fees into spectator areas and the race paddock, allowing us to make superbikes accessible to a wider audience. About forty spectators took advantage of the more affordable tickets and watched WorldSBK from the spectator’s corner. “We will maintain the ticket prices and system for next year in the same mode, and we are launching sales now so fans can use the tickets as Christmas gifts for their loved ones.” said Josef Zajíček.

Trucks, NASCAR, and vintage cars

The second most visited event in Mostek, the European Circuit Truck Championship – Czech & NASCAR Truck Prix, will be held on the last holiday weekend, namely 30 August to 1 September. Trucks, as well as cars from the NASCAR Europe series and other supporting series, will return to compete on the circuit. The weekend will also feature an accompanying program that promises fun for the whole family.

The Most CLASSIC car festival will be held again, which combines racing, exhibitions and gatherings of historic cars. It will take place September 27-29.

Nearly 10,000 visitors and nearly five hundred historic vehicles from all categories arrived at this year’s event. “We are trying to make The Most CLASSIC gradually develop into a very large car festival, where both owners, collectors and historical car clubs, as well as fans and the public will meet. We are the leading racing circuit in Czechia and we want to offer everyone the possibilities that the whole area has to offer.” depicts Josef Zajíček, who has several veterans.

In the Mostek calendar next season, we will also find other interesting sporting events, such as the FIA CEZ and ESET Cup, the German IDM International Motorcycle Championship, or the Autoshow and Safety Day which usually closes the autodrome season.

During the winter, further work will be carried out at the autodrome. Apart from routine maintenance, this is primarily a security improvement.

“IN THE basically concerns the reconstruction and adjustment of the escape zones at corners T16 and T17. We also plan to adjust the approach at the T1 corner to improve safety when braking on motorbikes. We will begin repairing the curb at corner T3, drainage and the first stage of construction of the guardrail at the back of the circuit. There will also be modifications to the control tower, radio frequency expansion, and we are continuing to improve the surveillance camera system we designed.
