Fast and Furious 10 | REVIEW

Dominic Toretto is already a name that is taken seriously in the world of action movies. Not because pictures about fast cars are a hole in the world or because they’re full of witty dialogue. The makers know very well what they are doing with the Fast & Furious brand.

With his concept, he has been aiming squarely at his target group for more than two decades, who devour everything Vin Diesel puts on screen with every subsequent work. The more contrived the driver pieces are, the better.

Fast and Furious 10 is slated to hit theaters on May 18, 2023.

And no wonder. Fast and Furious has, without exaggerating, everything a fast action lover could want. Over the course of the two and a half hours of footage, excellently shot locations from Brazil to Los Angeles to London or Rome alternate on screen, there’s little talk to make room for shots or squeaky brakes, and when the characters have something to say, it’s usually a rude statement that it functions seamlessly as a cinematic bridge to include all five. And viewers can freely munch on popcorn and turn off the brain.

In the same spirit, French director Louis Leterrier took the tenth jubilee part from the hands of Justin Lin. Other than that, it’s an overplayed, but functional song. Toretto and his family are stuck in the past, an old enemy appears and this time he is more refined than ever. Let’s add fast wheels, hero invulnerability cheats, and Tyrese Gibson’s awkward humor to the recipe.

Auto franchises may be in circles, but they’ve been in theaters for so long that they cover both the good and the bad. With ten, Diesel builds to the start of what is possibly the final trilogy in the series, after which he is sure to close the lock.

The fact that there will probably be three of two original parts to the epic ending shows how much he (doesn’t) want to step back from the multi-million dollar business. However, Leterrier is lucky enough to be able to direct not only a traditional cast, but also an interesting cameo role or Jason Momoa, who stands out from the crowd with a deranged villain with a wacky sense of humor.

The camera under the direction of Stephen F. Windon or the rhythmic soundtrack with a selection of the best hits that you play while robbing your favorite supermarket are also traditionally successful. The recording is tolerable thanks to the frantic pace, and the mentioned dialogue brakes only allow room for needed breaks.

Fast and Furious 10 will (again) offer a number of action scenes.

Fast and Furious with serial number 10 does not have a 360 degree plot twist this time (if we don’t count the car itself), but it doesn’t really need big twists and changes. Everything is set to wrap up the story of the Torret clan with two more steps on film fixtures in the years to come.

As an independent work, it will do well with the audience. It might also tastefully commemorate this year’s sad anniversary of the death of one of the stars of the entire series, Paul Walker. Such a film saga only benefits from the success achieved and a firm place in the immeasurable genre waters with state license plates. watch, enjoy, and most importantly, don’t think about it.
