Sold for 233 million crowns. The world’s most expensive new car auctioned in Paris, unique

Faster and more convenient

The Bugatti Chiron Profilée features optimized aerodynamics, so it should be more stable at high speeds. An interesting solution is the duck tail-style rear spoiler. Modifications were made to the steering, chassis and transmission which got shorter steps to make acceleration sharper. The car accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds, to 200 km/h in 5.5 seconds and up to 300 km/h in 12.4 seconds.

For all its power, the car needs to be comfortable for the crew and more comfortable to drive than, say, the snappy Chiron Pure Sport. The car was finished in silver Argent Atlantique paint with Le Patron painted wheels. Inside we find pure blue and carbon tones, the Chiron Profilée is also the only model to use leather together on the center tunnel, door linings and rear wall.

Bugatti initially envisioned the Profilée version as an add-on to the Chiron Pur Sport and Super Sport variants. However production of the 500 series proceeded faster than expected and the issue could not be completed on time. But in the end, the automaker decided to make at least one part. The question is whether the new owner will drive it or just keep it and use it as an attractive investment.
