Zakharova also added that politicians like Sikorski “are a danger to the Polish nation, which is being dragged to the frontiers of a world nuclear war.”
The head of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Volodin, stated that if Sikorski’s proposal to deliver nuclear warheads to Ukraine was implemented, the possibility of a nuclear conflict would destroy the European continent.
Zakharova and Volodin’s words were a reaction to statement by Radosław Sikorski. The Polish politician stated that “the West has the right to give Ukraine nuclear warheads so as to protect its independence.”
