Lieutenant General Serhii Najev, who is in charge of Ukraine’s northern border, was interviewed by American ABC:

– We realize that there is currently a resource war going on. Russia gets its resources with the help of the axis of evil – North Korea, Iran, Najev told ABC.

It is known that Russia has received drones from Iran, and Moscow has established close military cooperation with North Korea.

Warning

– And we get air defense equipment from our partners, and we fight against Russia with their support. It is important to understand that reduced support will impact our defense capabilities. But we will fight with what we have, stressed the lieutenant general.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyj said last week that the shift in focus to the Israel-Hamas war had slowed the delivery of artillery shells to Kyiv. This weakens the war effort as counterattacks against Russia stall, the president warned.

– Shipments from the West have decreased, Zelenskyj said, according to the report Bloomberg.

– Will save lives

The Secretary of State at the US Department of State, James O’Brien, on Monday promised that NATO would continue its support for Ukraine. He said it was irrelevant to pressure Ukraine to hold talks with Russia, Reuters reported.

Last week, Zelenskyj announced that their Western allies had committed to further developing Ukraine’s air defense capabilities. According to Zelenskyj, Germany and France will lead a coalition of 20 countries. According to the Minister of Defense They will help Rustem Umerov to further develop Ukraine’s land-based air defense system.

At the same time, Britain and Norway will look for ways to strengthen security in the Black Sea, the same defense minister reported Telegram.

– This will save lives and resources, allow Ukrainians to return from abroad and eliminate the opportunity for Russia to terrorize Ukraine, President Zelenskyy said according to Army information.

1,300 left of 30,000

Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kamyshin, said the country must focus in producing more weapons, so that in the long term it can develop into a “world arsenal”.

The Ukrainian General Staff reported on Sunday evening on Facebook that the Russians mainly attacked in the Avdiivka region. More than half of the military clashes that occurred in Ukraine in the last 24 hours occurred there.

Russia is increasingly using drones, making it increasingly difficult to evacuate civilians from the city, Unian reported.

– There are now 1,336 people left in the city, said the head of the city’s military administration, Vitaly Barabasj, according to Unian. Before the war, Avdiika had a population of only 30,000.
